This amazing console completely carved by hand, is based on an original antique made in the 18th Century. It was executed in 2005 by some of the Master artisans who are on our team. Only one was ever made .It is gilded with very thin gold leaf sheets applied one at a time.

In Spain, St. Giles feast day marks the beginning of autumn festivals. The console design depicts a harvest of a rabbit, geese, apples, florals. It also includes mythical creatures and cherubs among scrolling foliage.

The timber we use comes from sustainable sources and they are kiln dried correctly so as to be able to withstand 4 season climates without any apparent cracking, warping or splitting. Our finish is likened to that of a french polish that really enhances and brings out the beauty of the timber grain.
